cruisin' :)

to celebrate our second anniversary, the husband planned a five day cruise to the bahamas. we were excitedly counting down the days for the past couple of months. it was about two weeks before the day that i realized how scared i really was. i have this crazy fear of the water, and being out in the open sea for days at a time was really starting to freak me out. i'd even had nightmares about it. but it was already paid for, and it was too late to change my mind then. so i chose to ignore the anxious feeling that sat permanently in my stomach as we packed up the car and headed out to south carolina, to the port.

this helped with the nervousness i was feeling :/

 ^^free pizza. 24/7. all day. all night. one of my most favorite parts of the cruise lol

 ^^the room service people would make animals from the towels almost every day after cleaning our room. it was a fun surprise every time

 ^^loved all the fancy (virgin) drinks

 ^^performance called the brits. they told a story performing songs by the beatles and such

 ^^they had professional photographers all over the ship taking pictures. 

ours was featured! out of thousands. :)

 ^^bartenders, and really all the workers on the cruise ship were too nice.

  ^^there were storms on one of the days. you could see the rain in the distance.

 ^^sometimes the moon was really the only light out at night. and we could see the stars clearly.

we spent a lot of our nights star gazing and talking about anything and everything

^^stand up comedian. the guy was hilarious

being on the cruise was so much fun. but, because of my fear of the water, there were times i wanted to be off the ship and on some land. it got a bit overwhelming at times but mostly i enjoyed it. there was no wifi, no distractions. just me and saad, being able to relax and just enjoy our time together.

we also were able to meet so many people on the cruise. people from different places in the world, including those who worked on the ship. plus, all the free food it was a really awesome experience. :) we're already planning on going again.
