nassau + free port, bahamas

it's been a while since i posted, but because of ramadan (month long of fasting!) i had no time/energy to work on a new post. here's a little bit about our two days in the bahamas during our cruise. better late than never ;)

as much as i loved being on the cruise ship, i felt a little stuck at times because i couldn't get off and just walk/drive around. so i was glad when we got two full days on two different islands of the bahamas.

our first stop: nassau, bahamas.
you know those pictures you see online? of those amazingly beautiful beaches and that really blue/turquoise water that doesn't even look real? that was nassau. the most beautiful place i had ever seen. truly, the definition of heaven on earth!

we ended up getting a tour of the city from one of the locals, which was fun because we got to see the whole island and hung out with some really cool people that went on the tour with us.
we even went to the atlantis resort which was so awesome.

^^back on the cruise ship :) off to free port..

free port wasn't nearly as beautiful as nassau. but still, it was great seeing another island of the bahamas and the different culture there. i loved seeing and talking to the people more than anything.
husband ended up doing jet skiing for an hour and i hung out in a spot where they had wifi. there's only so long you can last without the internet.. lol

^^he had so much fun :)

 ^^yum, fresh coconut water

^^i got my hair braided in free port as well :)

back on the cruise for a couple more days before heading back home. this was by far one of my favorite trips with my hubsy :) i'm already looking forward to our next cruise! can't wait :)
